Acupuncture is a treatment modality within traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years used in the disease or to provide pain relief. They discovered that by stimulating certain points can affect organs and bodily functions.
The purpose of acupuncture is to balance the body, dissipate excess energy from some areas to areas with too little energy or you can have energy blockages that affect the energy flow.
The talks dealt with the individual on the basis of both symptoms and the cause and any treatment tailored to each person’s needs and diagnosis. Needles are placed along the body’s meridians (energy pathways) in different acupuncture points to rebalance the body. Each point has a specific function, and when these points are stimulated strengthens the body’s ability to balance and healing.
The needles are stainless steel, sterile and thin, with small knitting needles are applied and allowed to sit about 30 minutes, while it lags and relaxing on a couch. Sometimes, the needle can be moved vertically or swirled all depending on treatment. Afterwards you can feel a bit tired, but mostly just relaxed and calm.
