Fact: Although reading in dim light you tired eyes, not harmful.
Myth: Using a computer or a monitor hurts my eyes.
Reality: Although the use of a monitor is associated with eyestrain, not hurt the eyes.
Myth: If you use your eyes too, will be spent.
Fact: The eyes are not spent. You can use them whatever you want.
Myth: Sitting too close to the TV is bad for your eyes.
Reality: There is scientific evidence indicating that sit very close to the TV is bad for your eyes.
Myth: If you need glasses, your eyes are not healthy.
Fact: Need glasses has nothing to do with the health of your eyes. You just have some normal variation in the size or shape of the eye or a change that normally occurs with age.
Myth: You do not get an annual eye to be about 40 to 50 years.
Fact: The eye disease may occur at any time. As we age, our eyes are most at risk of developing diseases. One can be examined from a few days old.
Myth: Eating lots of carrots, have healthy eyes and good vision.
Reality: Good nutrition is important for overall health, including your eyes. The only basis for this myth is that carrots contain vitamin A, which is necessary in small amounts to the proper functioning of the eyes. A well balanced diet contains all the vitamin A person needs. Too much vitamin A can be harmful.
