Strength training and children

child trainingSince long ago, children dissuaded from strength training with arguments that the children would stay in the plant or risking broken bones. The notion that children would be harmed by weight training is wrong and it’s more that can vouch for that strength training is good for children in several respects.

The benefits of strength training for children
It may seem distant and dangerous but the fact is that there is less damage from strength exercisers children compared to many other sports that are popular in the same age. With controlled movements proper technique and weight, children have many future health benefits through weight training. Working out also other sports strength training can be an advantage in performance and injury prevention.

Staying in shape is not only applicable for adults, although there is talk a little about children and obesity. Children eat less and less, move less and more and more children become overweight. Strength training is a good form of exercise for losing and maintaining a healthy weight. In addition to burning the workouts, the child increased muscle mass, which means increased combustion.

Start with the basic principles

Right weight
Choosing lighter weights makes it easier to perform exercises with proper technique and less chance of injury. Strength training for children should be performed with light weights.

An instructor should be used with any advantage so everything is going right to the choice of exercises, techniques and training programs.
