Managing your new hair do at home can be tricky, but remember that hairdressers have trained for years to get your hair to look great. It’s always a good idea to watch the way your hair is being styled in the salon; how it’s being blow dried and what brushes are being used. Be sure to ask what products are being applied to your hair so that you too can also achieve the same effect at home.

BOB: This relatively high maintenance cut looks best when it’s dead straight and shiny. That means careful blow drying after every wash to iron out any kinks or waves. Use a large round brush and blow dryer to smooth hair, section by section, from the crown to the base of the neck. Gently curl hair under to finish.
