Characteristics of the soft diet
The soft diet is characterized by being a simple but effective diet, prevents the patient or the patient from getting worse and achieving a speedy recovery. In addition, when you are sick the body is not for large gastronomic tastings and all you want is to recover as soon as possible.
This diet is effective for the following reasons:
- It does not contain any fats.
- It avoids intestinal irritations when dealing with a healthy food, without spicy or aggressive condiments.
- The preparation of the food is steamed, boiled or grilled.
- Do not contemplate fried foods, very salty foods or heavy sauces.
- It is a very complete diet in nutrients and vitamins.

Although they are considered unhealthy, you have to select the refined cereals: wheat pasta, white bread, toast, cooked white rice, cookies, cereal porridge.

The idea is to consume lean beef, turkey, and veal during the diet. They must be grilled, roasted or boiled. The turkey or ham is allowed if they are low in fat.
